
Howard S. Waxman, MD, FAAP - RETIRED
Pediatrics
Dr. Waxman is a retired pediatrician who was certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He graduated from Rutgers University in 1977 with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and received his medical degree from The Medical College of Pennsylvania in 1981. After completing his pediatric residency at the University of Maryland in 1984, he worked at a pediatric practice for twelve years before joining Advocare Marlton Pediatrics in 1996, where he cared for patients and families until his retirement.
Throughout his career, Dr. Waxman was recognized multiple times as a Top Physician for Children. His clinical interests included Behavioral Pediatrics, child development, and promoting healthy lifestyles. He especially valued the long-term relationships he built with his patients and their families over the years.
Dr. Waxman resides in Cherry Hill with his wife Jo-Ann and their dog. In retirement, he enjoys spending time with his children and grandchildren, relaxing at the Jersey shore, biking, hiking, exploring history, playing bridge, and photography.
