Pediatrics

Howard Orel, M.D. joined Advocare Marlton Pediatrics in 1989. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with degrees from The College of Arts and Sciences, the Wharton School of Business, and the School of Medicine. He completed his pediatric training at Johns Hopkins Hospital and was certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in 1989. A fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Dr. Orel has consistently been honored as a Top Physician by multiple publications. He has also been recognized for his leadership, earning a place on NJBIZ's Health Care Power 50, recognizing the fifty most influential leaders in New Jersey healthcare, and the South Jersey Biz Power 50, honoring the business and community leaders shaping the future of South Jersey.

Dr. Orel is one of the founding members of Advocare and serves as its President and Chief Executive Officer. His clinical interests include evaluating and treating patients with ADHD, behavioral health and newborn care. The proud father of four daughters and a granddaughter, Dr. Orel resides with his wife, Emily, in Moorestown. He enjoys traveling, spending time at the shore and volunteering for various organizations.
